Our big backyard needs you!

Your backyard is where you live, work and play. It might be your garden, your balcony or rooftop, or the park where you take your dog for a walk. As backyards in Auckland become smaller, you might consider a beautiful bush walk your backyard, a playground, the stream by your house, or the beach down the road. Backyards come in all shapes and sizes.

By linking backyards across the North-West through planting, trapping and weeding, we will contribute to a wildlink which provides a safe place for native birds to fly to and through as well as establishing more native gardens, improving air quality and promoting physical and mental wellbeing.

Start today in your backyard… every small action you take will make a difference in creating the most beautiful big backyard for us all. Want to take action?
